In 2008 the AAUW Educational Foundation awarded over $4.5 million to help 260 women in the US and around the globe achieve their educational goals, conduct and publish research, and implemt projects supporting women and girls.

In June 2006 the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund marked its 25th anniversary as the nation's only legal advocacy fund for fighting sexual discrimination in higher education.
