• September 27 2008 - MD State AAUW Fall Meeting at: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 2174027 AAUW Maryland will roll out the new Breaking through Barriers and utilize the PEARL (Protect; Educate; Advocate; Research; Lead), concept - the mnemonic for identifying the strategies that AAUW will use to implement Breaking through Barriers. Register by September 15.

  • January 17--Have lunch on your own with friends and then meet at Constellation Books, 303 main St., Reisterstown with local mystery author Louise Titchener
  • February 14--Valentine Luncheon at the Episcopal Cathedral at University and Charles Streets--AAUW Executive Director Linda Hallman is a powerful and interesting speaker!
